Steve and Betsy Moulds moved to the Napa Valley and began planting their vineyard perched on the bench and slopes of the West side of the Oak Knoll district in 2000. Their passion, attention to detail, big hearts, and intelligence quickly led them to produce incredible Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from their beautiful vineyard. Although we have known Steve and Betsy since 2000, we only began working with their vineyard in 2018. Our Moulds Family Vineyard Cabernet is sourced from clones 169 and 685 from the bench blocks and the upper slopes. Both of these clones and blocks combine to yield a wine of fresh blue and black fruit, with a focus on perfume and an elegant power.
