Mythos is the culmination of our dream, chasing Merlot in Napa Valley. This proprietary blend is based on Merlot from the Hyde Vineyard in Carneros, where it thrives in the cool climate and silty, clay loam soils. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc and Petit Verdot complete the orchestra, all playing their supporting roles with aplomb. Look for aristocratic aromatics of blueberry, cassis, blackberry bramble, sweet tobacco, violets, menthol and dark chocolate. The palate is dense and concentrated with a linear focus that gradually expands to create an energetic, yet voluminous mid-palate with a silky disposition. The finish is focused, long and gorgeous.
